STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Recent graduate to 5 years of structural engineering experience with FE exam certification, B.S. in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in structures

Our engineers are involved in the structural design and drawing production for custom buildings during all phases of the project and through construction.  Each engineer will gain experience with different types of structural systems and a variety of building materials, including concrete, masonry, steel, and wood.  We encourage active participation in professional societies and provide support in continuing education with the goal of obtaining professional licensure.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to develop the following skills:

  • Application of engineering fundamentals to the design of building structural systems

  • An understanding of building codes and a complete building load path

  • An understanding of construction document production and the construction process

  • Ability to work on multi-discipline design teams

  • Effective communication through written reports and oral presentations

  • Ability to use the computer as a tool for analysis, communication, and research

  • A strong sense of ethical and professional behavior

  • Be self-motivated to contribute to efficient, quality design of projects

  • A curiosity and desire for life-long learning
